Camp After Dark Guest Policies
To ensure a smooth, safe, and memorable experience for all guests, please review our guest policies:
1. Adults-Only Retreat
Camp After Dark is exclusively for adult guests (ages 21+). We welcome both solo travelers and couples. While the campgrounds we use may be family-friendly, our experiences are designed with privacy and adult relaxation in mind.
2. Pets
To preserve the comfort of all guests and ensure allergy-friendly environments, we do not allow pets. Service animals with proper certification are welcome and must be disclosed during booking.
3. Booking Your Stay
All reservations require a non-refundable booking deposit (amount varies by package and ranges from $75 - $400). A refundable damage deposit (ranges from $100 - $250 and will be returned within 14 business days post-inspection, provided there’s no damage or missing items) is included in the price of each package.
4. Payment Plans
We offer flexible payment plans for any package over $675. You may split payments into 2–4 installments. The full balance must be paid no later than 10 days before your scheduled arrival. Booking and damage deposits still apply. Please contact us at the time of booking to set up a custom payment arrangement. Payment in full is due 14 days prior to your stay.
5. Cancellations
Cancel more than 10 days before your scheduled arrival to receive a full refund (excluding booking deposit). If you cancel within 10 days of your stay, refund is not given.
6. Campground Location
Your exact campground location will be shared 48 hours in advance of your stay. Most locations are within a 1.5–3 hour drive from cities we serve (NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C.). This allows us to match the best site to your selected package and date.
7. Check-In & Parking
You’ll receive parking instructions and site access details via email or text prior to arrival. Staff may greet you at the entrance or escort you to your reserved site depending on the location.
8. Food & Cleanup
Pre-planned food packages are available, or guests may bring their own groceries. Please take any leftover food and personal items with you upon departure. A $100 clean-up fee may apply if trash or food is left behind.
9. Quiet Hours & Behavior
To ensure a peaceful experience for all guests, quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 8 AM. No loud music, parties, or disruptive behavior. Excessive intoxication or disrespectful conduct may result in immediate removal without refund.
10. Weather & Nature Policy
Camp After Dark operates in most weather conditions. Severe weather may prompt rescheduling. Be aware of local wildlife and follow basic safety instructions provided in your welcome guide and those given by the campsite's security, staff, and/or local law enforcement and first responders.
11. Privacy & Safety Commitment
Your comfort, safety, and privacy are our top priorities. All campsites are chosen for seclusion and are fully prepped before your arrival. Emergency contact numbers are provided in your welcome materials.
12. Last-Minute Stays
We may be able to accommodate you. Bookings made 7 days prior to arrival require full payment at the time of booking. A $100 rush preparation fee is applied to all stays. Availability is limited and customized experiences may be adjusted based on inventory.
13. Personal Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
By booking with Camp After Dark, all guests acknowledge and accept that camping and outdoor activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: uneven terrain, weather conditions, wildlife, campfires, and use of camping equipment.
Guests agree to:
Take personal responsibility for their own safety and well-being during their stay.
Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by Camp After Dark.
Assume full responsibility for any injuries, accidents, or property damage that may occur as a result of participation in camping activities.
Release Camp After Dark, its owners, and affiliates from liability for incidents that may arise from the normal risks of camping.
We encourage all guests to act responsibly, use caution, and enjoy the experience while respecting nature and fellow campers.
14. Personal Belongings
Camp After Dark is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
15. Communications and Correspondence
By inquiring about our stays or booking with Camp After Dark, you consent to receive marketing, promotional, and sales emails and/or SMS messages. You may opt out of receiving communication at any time.
